Today, 30 years ago, two schoolteachers -- Lysa Parker and Barbara Nicholson -- made the choice to found a nonprofit organization to support parents in raising their children with nurturing.
This nonprofit, originally named Attachment Parenting International, was the precursor to the organization we know now as Nurturings.

We'll learn about those early years, remember the joys and trials of a growing international organization, and look forward to the years of parent support to come.
